The northern town of Ulverstone was the scene of some exciting outreaches in September, where scores of people committed their lives to Jesus Christ.
Ulverstone Responds to God’s Call
Music from Stephen Atkins and Darin Browne paved the way for Bill to share some exciting messages with the people of the north-west coast of Tasmania. Particularly exciting were the many young people who streamed to the front of the auditorium to give their lives to Jesus, and tears of repentance were shed by many.
Exciting testimonies of lives set free from crime, drug and alcohol abuse challenged the listeners and opened many previously hardened hearts, including several addicts who looked to the Saviour to turn their life around.
Participating churches in Ulverstone and surrounding areas saw their hard work rewarded as people gave their hearts to the Lord. Bill shared some powerful teaching and his heartfelt message on the Prodigal Son clearly resonated with many who felt that they had ruined their life and that there was no hope for them.
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
Bill explained that the heart of the Father was to welcome them to the family with open arms… a timeless message that speaks of the unfathomable love and grace of God. What a joy to see people responding to the gospel with tears of repentance and hope after years of struggle and addiction!
Bill and Darin look forward to returning to towns around Ulverstone and the great north-west of Tassie to share the gospel in preaching and music again soon. They believe that God is about to do something great in this beautiful area, transforming the lives of these wonderful people!
