Mandalay in Myanmar is known as the city of the Kings. Dr. Robert Cunville, associate evangelist from the Billy Graham Team, lifted high the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and hundreds were drawn to Him.
It was a wonderful privilege for Bill to join with Dr. Cunville for this wonderful Celebration of Peace and Hope. Thousands packed the central Plaza building night by night. Others, unable to get in, spilled over into the overflow area below.
As the invitation was extended, hundreds quickly moved forwarded to make their commitment to Christ.
As the invitation was extended, hundreds quickly moved forwarded to make their commitment to Christ. Immediately the counseling team went into action guiding those in their new decision. It was so thrilling to see so many, often with tears, guided in their newfound faith.
Bill was busy, as part of the Team, giving devotions each day and also in preaching in extra meetings. In one church he spoke at on Sunday morning, over 200 made decisions for Christ. The local minister and his team were so thrilled at the response. The Holy Spirit was powerfully at work in Mandalay.
